Main Functions

 

  1. 1.Thermal insulation, to prevent temperature loss of liquid steel.
  2. 2.Isolate the air to prevent oxygen from entering the liquid steel and causing secondary oxidation, which can affect the quality of the steel.
  3. 3.Absorbing and dissolving the inclusions that float up from molten steel to the interface of steel slag, purifying liquid steel and improving its purity.

Usage

 

  1. 1.ladlecovering agent: the agent shall be added before casting, with an amount of1-1.5kg/ton of liquid steel.
  2. 2.tundishcovering agent: the agent shall be added after the first casting liquid level reachesthe specified level, with an amount of 150-200kg.The specific addition amount shall be adjusted according to the condition of liquid surface, and the standard is that the surface of the liquid steel is not exposed.
