steel wire rod-What is Petroleum Coke?
Petroleum coke, also known as petcoke, is a solid carbon-rich material that is produced during the refining of crude oil. It is typically a byproduct of the refining process, and is produced when heavy crude oil is processed to produce gasoline, diesel fuel, and other refined products. The refining process involves heating the crude oil to high temperatures, and during this process, some of the carbon and other impurities in the oil are left behind as a solid residue. This residue is then further processed to produce petcoke.
